A new look for the terminal — warmer surfaces, colours you choose, and a desk you can rearrange
Appearance — Light is now the default, and the ground is warm rather than pure black. Four surfaces (Paper, Mist, Slate and a High-contrast option) and five accents (Teal, Clay, Indigo, Plum, Moss) combine freely with Light, Dark or System. Every choice is a separate axis, so you can keep a dark room and a warm ground, or a light room and a cool one. Open the gear in the top bar to set them.
Rise and fall colours — Three schemes: Standard (cyan rise, rose fall), Traditional (green rise, red fall) and Colour-blind (blue rise, orange fall) for deuteranopia. An invert switch swaps the pair if you read the other convention, and it swaps the soft background fills with the solid text colours so nothing is left mismatched. Direction is never carried by colour alone — every signed number also shows a sign or an arrow, and amber stays reserved for risk warnings.
Your desk — Three layouts: book right, book left, or ticket left. The chart, order book, ticket and blotter are all drag-resizable, and the handles are the gutters between panels rather than strips overlapping them. Two densities plus a compact-tables switch let you trade the same screen tighter or looser.
Chart — Pin up to three intervals as pills and reach the rest from the overflow menu; pins persist. Twelve series styles are available (bars, candles, hollow candles, line, line with markers, step line, area, HLC area, baseline, columns, high-low, Heikin Ashi), alongside indicators, chart settings, fullscreen, and a Depth view that draws the book's cumulative curve instead of candles. The live bar's open, high, low and close now read out along the toolbar.
Order ticket — Market and Limit are up front; stop limit, stop market, take-profit limit, take-profit market and TWAP sit behind the type menu. Click a price in the order book to fill it, and optionally require a confirmation step before an order goes out — with a summary of exactly what will be signed. The slippage figure (0.1%, 0.5%, 1% or 3%) sets the worst price that summary prints; a market order itself signs as an IOC priced 5% through the mark.
At a shared desk — Hide PnL masks your own profit and loss across the ticket summary, the blotter's PNL and ROE columns and the portfolio rows, for screen sharing and open-plan offices. It deliberately does not mask prices, sizes, funding, or another address's figures in the public explorer. The order-placed sound and the order book's animation can each be turned off.
Everywhere else — Portfolio, Earn, Vaults, Staking, Sub-accounts, API wallets, Multi-sig, the Faucet and this feed are rebuilt on one shared page shell, so a header, a stat row and a table look and behave the same wherever you are. Deposits and withdrawals are edge drawers for Base and Arbitrum, each carrying its own network mark. The block explorer is a separate deployment at explorer.mtf.exchange.
What we did not do — There is no placeholder data anywhere in this release. Where the network does not publish a figure yet, you get an em-dash and a hover explanation of what is missing, not an invented number; where a control has nothing behind it yet, it is tagged rather than left to fail silently. This is a testnet, and it says so.
