MetaFlux 0.7.17 — Finer fees and stronger transaction security
MetaFlux 0.7.17 ships as a freeze-swap. The chain halts at a set block height, every validator swaps the binary, and consensus resumes from the same committed state. Balances, positions and open orders carry over unchanged — there is nothing for you to do.
The upgrade brings finer trading-fee precision: a fee leg is now set in deci-basis-points, a tenth of a basis point. Rates are not negotiated — your base taker and maker rate follows your trailing-30-day traded volume, and a separate tier follows your share of exchange maker volume over the same window.
EVM transaction signatures are verified at commit. The sender is recovered from the signature before the transaction executes, so a transaction that does not recover to its stated sender is refused instead of run.
